Enumports.f (Scan com ports)

This is the SwiftForth code needed to enumerate com ports and get their friendly names in Windows. This will get the active com ports and display them, similar to Tera Term and even how device manager will display your com ports.

Example: USB Serial (COM2).

Uses SetupAPI.dll

To use, copy and paste the code into notepad and "Save as" Enumports.f

Put into one of these folders:

C:\ForthInc\SwiftForth\bin

or

C:\ForthInc\SwiftForth\user

To run type in include Enumports.f

Then type enumports into SwiftForths terminal
